Présentation

Présentation

This program aims to provide advanced subspecialty training in digestive imaging at an expert level.

It consists of five teaching modules focused on diagnostic imaging (liver/biliary tract, pancreas, spleen/peritoneum/lymphatics/wall pathologies, emergencies/trauma, and gastrointestinal tract), one module dedicated to indications and follow-up in interventional digestive radiology, and one module covering recent updates and recommendations.

The program is delivered exclusively online. It includes recorded lectures in various formats (traditional lectures, clinical cases, and guidelines). Each lecture is accompanied by a clinical case with questions ensuring continuous assessment. At the end of each module, a live clinical case session is organized to allow interaction with the experts. Continuous assessment and the final examination are also conducted online.

The program is delivered by leading specialists in digestive imaging from numerous French universities and institutions. Forums enable communication with the faculty and the instructional coordinator, who ensures the smooth running of the DIU.

Objectives:

  • Advanced-level training (expert level subspecialty) in abdominal and gastrointestinal imaging.
  • In-depth development of knowledge in diagnostic and interventional abdominal and gastrointestinal imaging.
  • Acquisition of strategies and prioritization of the different imaging modalities in practical clinical situations.

Learning mode and assessment :

  • Duration :  70 hours (+ online exam 1,5 hours)
  • Schedule : From September 2026 to June 2027
  • Applications from May 1st to July 10th
  • Remote learning (lectures, clinical cases and live sessions with experts)
  • Continuous assesment (30% of the final grade) and final exam (70% of the final grade)
